About the Surrey 3 Peaks Challenge:
We are specialists in bespoke private tours. Just contact us if you would like to discuss.
This is a magnificent walk through the glorious Surrey Countryside conquering Holmbury Hill, Leith Hill and Box Hill in the process!
We start from the village of Holmbury St Mary, nestled in the heart of Surrey Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) the Surrey 3 Peaks walk will take us through ancient woodland, past rivers, ponds and waterfalls and will be a magnificent way to spend a day.
Our first peak, Holmbury Hill, stands at 261 meters above sea level. Once at the summit, you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views that stretch across the Weald and to the South Downs on a clear day.
Next we tackle Leith Hill, the highest point in Southeast England, standing proudly at 294 meters. Leith Hill Tower, built in the 18th century, awaits you at the summit. Climb to the top of the tower for an even more spectacular 360-degree view that, on a clear day, extends as far as London in one direction and the English Channel in the other.
The final ascent is to Box Hill, perhaps the most famous of the three peaks. Box Hill rises to 224 meters and is renowned for its stunning views of the Mole Valley and the meandering River Mole.
The event is open to all, there will be marshalls walking with you guiding the way and a comprehensive set of walker notes will be provided.
It is a superb, exhilarating, strenuous and fun day of walking. A fantastic way to push your limits while soaking in the stunning landscapes of Surrey. This experience is sure to be one you’ll remember for years to come.
